Last week, AM attended the group exhibition curated by KAWS and Erik Parker, a unique project hosted by Paul Kasmin Gallery. The show Pretty on the Inside (teased) included works from seven American artists – Todd James, Tony Matelli, Joyce Pensato, Peter Saul, Karl Wirsum and of course, the two curators. The visually intense and almost organic feel of works served to focus the viewer on the raw beauty within. The show runs until August 19th, so make it a point to stop by if you’re in town.
