Apart from the Cyrcle. crew painting their latest mural, David Flores also took the opportunity to paint his own mural at the Culver City building complex which houses mural work by Herakut and Andrew Hem. The Branded Arts sponsored project had Flores painting his signature style design on a big scale. Last time we saw Flores working on a wall, he took one of Phil Stern’s iconic images which featured James Dean. This time around Flores went a different route and created a rendering of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The image is actually an unreleased photo of the artist, but Flores adorned it in blue and black colors which attracted crowds of people who couldn’t help but see the work up close.
Check out more pics and don’t forget to visit the Culver City complex which sits between Washington and National if you want to take a look in person.
