The Arrested Motion crew will be flying in to Hong Kong tomorrow as our first curatorial project, East West Connect, opens up at the Above Second Gallery on Friday night. In a couple days, as we install the show, we’ll be able to show you a complete preview, but for now, take a look at this piece from Luke Chueh (interviewed). For this painting, EVERYBODY LOVES PANDA (YELLOW), you can see that Luke’s signature sad bear character is trying to blend in with his new environs by transforming itself into a species more common in that part of the world.
