Following on the heels of the Resting Place Companion from KAWS comes this mythical new figure from the street turned contemporary artist. To true fans of KAWS out there, there have been glimpses before of the Astro Boy in a rumored ultra-limited run of 13 in the hands of celebrity collectors such as Nigo and Everlast. Looks like there will now be a smaller and different version for more casual collectors come October 27th. This most famous creation from Osamu Tezuka, revered in Japan as the “God of Manga,” will be remixed in the typical KAWS fashion and will be available at select retailers for approximately $231 USD.
