Tomorrow (November 16) in Paris, the local branch of Galerie Perrotin will be hosting an opening reception for Ryan McGinley’s Body Loud. His first show with the gallery will feature 20 new primarily large format photographs created last summer as part of his ongoing series of works where he takes a crew of friends with him on a road trip and shoot them in natural settings. Arguably the young New York-based photographer and artist’s most famous imagery, the sessions have now evolved into more complex sessions of art making that still maintains the air of spontaneity.
