Artist Ana Bagayan recently released two new giclee prints. The first one is a special charity fundraiser print entitled ”Prey” (above), with 100% of the profits going towards funding Ana’s Lunch Bunch project (Each copy of ”Prey” is just $25, and the funds raised from each sale will feed 12 people). Ana recently started off making and distributing home-made lunch packs for the homeless of Los Angeles. Lunch Bunch is operated by Ana and her friend Mere alone, all undertaken completely at their own expense. After just a few weeks of running are now handing out over 70 lunches and care packs per week. You can buy a signed and numbered print or make a simply make a donation via PayPal or google checkout here.
The second print is entitled “Silence,” the original of which was recently shown at Gallery 1988’s Crazy for Cult 3-D show (covered). Take a look at this print and more about the charity after the jump…
Furthermore, Ally Takeuchi-Cipriani from Black Maria Gallery is organizing a fundraiser event to support the Lunch Bunch project, and is asking for collectors, galleries and artists to contribute artworks, prints etc. for a forthcoming sale where all of the proceeds will be pumped into keeping Lunch Bunch running and LA’s homeless fed.
Please contact Ally with details of any contributions of artwork you can make directly.
