On October 17th, If You Lived Here I’d Be Home By Now will open at Jonathan LeVine Gallery (529 West 20th Street), a new body of work from Seonna Hong. The exhibition will mark her return to the New York art world after eight long years and will be her debut show with the Chelsea showspace. The new paintings, still featuring her recognizable expressionistic landscapes rendered with swirls and scrapes and inhabited by children at play, looks to the future and what’s to come. She states – “My once melancholic and somber pieces have given way to a new kind of hopefulness.”
