Releases: Tiffany Bozic – “Drawn By Instinct” Monograph

It’s been a while (2010) since we met up with gifted painter Tiffany Bozic, but now comes news that a book she has been working on is finally ready. Drawn By Instinct, produced by Gingko Press, includes over 150 color illustrations in its 192 pages featuring her beautiful renderings of the natural world. To kick things off for the release, she will be giving a talk at the SF Public Library on Tuesday (September 4th) at 6:00pm. Via Upper Playground. Discuss Tiffany Bozic here.

Fame Fest ’12: Interesni Kazki

Artistic duos in the street art scene don’t often work on their own, but Interesni Kazki has done so on multiple occasions. This is exactly what happened for this year’s Fame Festival, as AEC left his brother and headed over to Grottaglie to get up on his own. Releases: Andy Warhol x Campbell’s Soup Cans

The Campbell’s Soup company will be releasing some limited edition (albeit 1.2 million of them) cans inspired by Andy Warhol’s imagery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Warhol’s iconic 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans. Approved by the Andy Warhol Foundation, these new cans will be available starting Sunday at your local Target stores at 75 cents each. *edit* It appears some Targets have released them early *edit* Photo via AP / WOKV. Openings: Steven Harrington – “Insideout” @ Known Gallery

Currently showing at the Known Gallery in Los Angeles through this weekend are the works of Steven Harrington. Insideout is the first exhibition held in his hometown of Los Angeles since 2009 from the artist and designer, also known for co-founding both the design agency National Forest and pop-art brand You&I. Preview: Maya Hayuk – “Multi Versus” @ Cooper Cole Gallery

Next Thursday (September 6th) in Toronto, the Cooper Cole Gallery will be hosting a reception for the opening of Maya Hayuk new solo show. Multi Versus will feature the NY-based artist’s distorted symmetry and unusual pattern’s all rendered in a kaleidoscopic mix of colors. This upcoming weekend, Dabs Myla and Thinkspace will be presenting the show Marvelous Expeditions.
