Just like last year, visionary artist Adam Neate (interviewed) will be presenting his work at Art Stage Singapore. Showing with Elms Lester when the fair opens January 12th, the UK-based painter has created new piece, Revolving Door, for his fans in Asia that full demonstrates his “Dimensional Painting” technique. The Brooklyn-based artist is inspired by her childhood experiences with her entomologist father and mythology with her palette influenced by the landscapes of Iceland and the Northern lights. Releases: Rachell Sumpter – “Old Friend” Print @ Tiny Showcase

Washington-based painter, Rachell Sumpter, has recently released a new print through Tiny Showcase. This vibrant image is entitled Old Friend and will be a 10″ x 10″ reproduction priced at only $25. Teaser: Luke Chueh – “The Primrose Path” @ Brett Wesley Gallery

Videos / Basel Week Miami ’11: Risk – “Beautifully Destroyed”

While he is currently working on a yet to be completed mural in Los Angeles (covered), Risk did recently complete a wall in Miami (as you can see in the photos here). Preview: Allison Sommers – “Potter’s Field” @ Thinkspace

Streets: ESPO – “Train To Always” (Brooklyn)

The prolific Steve “ESPO” Powers, who recently gifted NYC with a re-showing of the work from part of the Art In The Streets show (covered), has also posted up a photo of a mural from a corner of Brooklyn. Releases: David Flores – “Deathead”

Not only has David Flores been busy in the streets and in the gallery, he has also been working on a new figure entitled Deathead. The 10″ tall reinterpretation of Mickey melded with Totenkopf symbol utilized by the Prussian army during the time of Frederick the Great will be produced by Bic Plastics and reportedly come in five colorways.
