If you remember, Gary had a show in Israel this past January.  As per his usual custom, he brought along Toby to […]

Mark Ryden’s First Toy – YHWH

Here is the first photo we have seen of Mark Ryden’s first ever toy – YHWH.  The figure is titled after one of his paintings (seen after the jump) and also cleverly posed with a little girl as in the painting.  Not sure what it is meant to be but one definition of YHWH is the God of the Old Testament as transliterated from Hebrew consonants.  Perhaps it’s Ryden’s vision of the Almighty, at least in the world of his paintings. The figure will come […]

Grateful Palate’s James Jean Wine

When AM visited James Jean’s “Kindling” show at Jonathan Levine (here), the gallery served up some delicious wine with some of JJ’s artwork on it. Turns out that James designed three series of wine labels for California-based Grateful Palate. There are three different types of wine in the line: “Southern Belle” Shiraz, “Diddley Boo” Riesling, and “Poor Thing” Grenache. Each bottle has one of three different artwork on the label. So, continuing with our coverage of artist & vineyard collaborations (here) that entertain the eyes […]

Since the release party, Yoskay has been busy preparing for his upcoming solo show in May. However, he still had time to work on some new customs of his Koibito figure… Pics after the jump.
