Tomorrow at noon (Octeber 22nd Eastern time), KAWS will be releasing something for his fans out there to celebrate Halloween. Reprising his collaboration with the popular Snoopy (see 2011), the ceramic jar will be available for approximately $132 on Kawsone. Also, for all those KAWS heads out there, remember the street turned contemporary artist will be participating in another holiday next month in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a 40-foot-long balloon of his companion character. Last week, Casio G-Shock hosted a retrospective for legendary New York graffiti artist Eric Haze (featured). To celebrate their 4th collaboration in 15 years, Casio took a different approach to this showing – they worked with Eric to curate an exhibition that showcases their commercial design work over the past 3 decades. Last year, while AM was in Hong Kong, we had a chance to visit HOW2WORK studios and preview their special collaboration with blue-chip Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara. Entitled Doggy Radio this unique project is a functional sculpture created by Nara and designed jointly between Sayers Studios & H2W.
