Releases: Os Gemeos for Hennessy

Following in the footsteps of KAWS & Futura, the Brazilian artistic duo Os Gemeos have been chosen to design the next limited edition Hennessy V.S. bottle. Judging from previous releases, fans of the twins should not have a hard time getting ahold of one of these for their collections as past iterations were released in high numbers. Releases: Gary Baseman – “Guest” Figure @ Lladró Boutique (Beverly Hills)

Tomorrow night in Beverly Hills (June 19th 6-8pm), the Lladró Boutique will be holding a release party for the Gary Baseman (interviewed) designed version of their Guest porcelain figure. David Choe for Fin Bec

David Choe, who will be releasing a print on Monday, also worked in Switzerland on an art and wine project called myFINBEC last year. The award winning winery, Cave Fin Bec, brought together eight graffiti artists to paint on large wooden canvases constructed from 84 wine crates. These were then dismantled into their individual parts and filled with six bottles of wine with the artwork adorning each one. Releases: ROA – “SK8room Skatedecks”

Belgium-based ROA, who recently had a solo showing in his home country (covered), has also been working on a project with SK8room. The set of three decks (Decay 1, 2, & 3) featuring the street artist’s anatomical style are the result of  a trip to Cambodia, to meet the guys from Skateistan (20% of sales go to them) in Phnom Penh, a not-for-profit organization that teaches empowerment through skateboarding to children in impoverished countries. For fans of the American cult director Harmony Korine’s movie Spring Breakers, you may be interested to know that Opening Ceremony has released collection of apparel based on the new film.
