On March 27, David Bloch Gallery in Marrakech will continue their program of introducing relevant international urban artists to the Morroco with a solo exhibition OFF/GRID by Augustine Kofie (featured). Releases: Sam Friedman x Case Studyo Rug

Continuing their line of carefully curated collaborations with select artists, Case Studyo’s latest offering comes from Sam Friedman. Entitled Happy Place, the handwoven rug is based on a painting from 2014 and was also the title of his showing earlier this year in New York. AM recently had the chance to peek inside Meguru Yamaguchi’s studio in Brooklyn as he was preparing a new body of work, which will be shown at Reed Space starting March 26th. Releases: Brendan Monroe x Raised by Wolves Capsule Collection

A new capsule collection from Raised by Wolves was recently released featuring the distinctive imagery of Brendan Monroe (interviewed). The hoodies, sweatshirts, and tees were imprinted with the Bay Area-based artist’s topographical linework and is available on a limited basis. Armory Week ’15: Armory Art Fair (Part 2)

Tonight in Istanbul, Robert Montgomery will be opening his first solo show in Turkey at the cultural hub situated in Galatasaray and Karaköy – ISTANBUL’74. Previews: Pedro Matos @ Miguel Justino Contemporary Art

Later tonight (March 19th), Pedro Matos will be opening a self-titled solo in Miguel Justino Contemporary Art’s project room in Lisbon. Continuing his foray into abstraction, the new works are influenced by the urban landscape – the “ephemeral and decaying, the withered and downtrodden” – something that has been consistently an influence for the Portuguese artist since his early beginnings on the streets.
