New York Gallery Freight + Volume open their 2011 season with a group show this week featuring Kristen Schiele (interviewed) and Eric White (interviewed). Broad Musuem Design Revealed

The much talked about Broad Museum finally has an architectural design. This honeycombed building with a projected cost of $130 million is the brainchild of Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, a New York-based firm, and will feature 114,000 square feet of space spread over three stories. We will be definitely be looking forward to checking this and Eli Broad’s collection out when it opens in downtown LA. Via La Times.

Update: James Jean – “Rebus” @ Martha Otero

We now have some more info to share with you after first bringing you news of a Los Angeles exhibition from James Jean (interviewed) the other day.
