Showing: “Relationships” @ Gallery Christoffer Egelund

One of our astute readers in Copenhagen, Henrik Haven, recently took some pictures for us of the “Relationships” group show currently showing at Gallery Christoffer Egelund. The exhibition features three artists that we like – Tim Biskup, Miss Van, and Victor Castillo – as well as a fourth artists we weren’t familiar with – Michael Swaney. The exhibition nicely hung against the clean backdrop and spacious venue looking like something that should not be missed if you are in the area.  More pics after the […]

Preview: Jonathan LeVine Gallery – “Annual Summer Invitational”

The cool thing about the “Annual Summer Invitational” at Jonathan LeVine Gallery is that we get to see some fresh faces that haven’t had an opportunity to grace the gallery walls before. This Saturday, July 31, Merry Karnowsky Gallery will be hosting a new show, “Vivid Fiction,” a joint venture between artists Junko Mizuno, Aiko, and Samuel Lowder aka FrePrs. Although it seems to be a somewhat discordant grouping, each artist has something to offer to those that attend. Aiko Nakagawa, formerly part of the  Faile (featured), continues to develop her own imagery and style, showing a feminine touch that has been missing from the Brooklyn collective since she left. Junko Mizuno will be bringing her unique […]
