Opening last week, Camille Rose Garcia’s Animus Chrysalis Mortis takes viewers to vibrant and lush gardens while exploring many of life’s tropes including creation and death. There is no subtlety with the LA-based artist’s journey, as seen through the lens of an acid trip seemingly lit by black lights. Releases: Joao Ruas – “The Rites of Spring” Print Set

On March 20th, Joao Ruas will be releasing a print set entitled The Rites of Spring. Inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s masterpiece Le Sacre du Printemps, the limited editions will be available at 8:31AM (PST) the exact moment of the Vernal Equinox on the Northern Hemisphere. Yoskay Yamamoto Installation @ interTrend

Over the course of last week, Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed) set up an installation at ad agency and supporter of the arts interTrend in Long Beach. The piece entitled wish you were here… was originally part of a show at the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo that has now been reconfigured in two parts for the new space. Releases: Josh Keyes – “Afternoon of a Faun” Print

Earlier today, Josh Keyes (interviewed) continued his longstanding collaboration with Tiny Showcase by releasing another print. Afternoon of a Faun is a 12″ tall by 18″ wide time limited edition and will be available from March 1st until March 8th (noon Eastern Time). Priced at $55, each sale will contribute $15 to the Nature Conservancy which works toward protecting nature, for people today and future generations.
