Currently at Driscoll Babcock Galleries in New York, All We Have Is Now is on display from Jenny Morgan. The series of paintings utilizing vivid oversaturated colors are striking in their raw honesty and emotive value. Based thematically on her thoughts on life, death, and rebirth, the new work shows the NYC-based artist skills while deftly alternating between stark portraiture and surreal imagery. Upcoming: Josh Keyes @ Antler Gallery

On July 30th, Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be returning to the Antler Gallery in Portland for another showing (see 2014). If this glimpse into the new body of work is any indication, the locally-based artist has further refined his new aesthetic that takes his imagery all the way to the edge of the panels he paints on. This new 12 x 18″ piece is entitled Quake, and has us excited to see the fresh set of works when the exhibition opens. Discuss Josh Keyes here.
