Preview: Bumblebee’s Lemonade Stand Installation and “Morning Air” Print Release

For those fortunate enough to be in Southern California this time of year, Bumblebee will be presenting a one day pop-up installation this Sunday, August 11th on the world-famous Venice Beach Boardwalk. Preview: Eric Joyner – “First World Problems” @ Corey Helford Gallery

This Saturday night (August 10th), Eric Joyner (interviewed) will be opening a new solo show at Corey Helford Gallery. Bringing his robots into the city, where his other favorite subject (donuts) are in much abundance will make for excellent material for his special form of portraiture. Utilizing a meme, First World Problems, as the title, the new work will no doubt add an extra layer of meaning when robot society is involved. On August 10, Martha Otero Gallery will host and open Surveying, a solo exhibition of recent works by Alvaro Ilizarbe.
