Art Basel Week Miami is just around the corner, and once again Juxtapoz Magazine is coming to Miami with another edition of their Juxtapoz Clubhouse concept, this time taking over a whole section in downtown Miami. Last month, Amy Sol (interviewed) had the opportunity to paint her first outdoor wall and her largest mural to date for this year’s POW! WOW! Antelope Valley. Curated by Thinkspace & Lancaster MOAH and created at the BLVD in downtown Lancaster, the piece features Sol’s signature female characters & creature companions created in a delicate muted palette. With the public opening of the heavily anticipated exhibition from KAWS set for tomorrow in NYC, here is a first look at what will be on display at Skarstedt Gallery.
