D*Face x Triumph Motorcycles Custom Bikes

Recently, D*Face (interviewed) completed a series of three custom bikes for Triumph Motorcycles featuring some of his distinctive imagery. Drawing on his own love for motorcycling, the British artist paid his repects to the long history of the largest British motorcycle manufacturer by hand-painting the iconic bikes himself. If you head over to Triumph’s website and book a test ride of a Triumph Modern Classic between February 26th and April 30th, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win one of the unique hand-painted bikes. Onejessa recently completed a rooftop mural on top of the Hibernian House in Sydney’s CBD. The piece is a larger than life reproduction of a mixed media piece from her latest collection Violent Harmonies that will be exhibited starting the 14th of March at M2 gallery. Using diverse painting techniques, the Australian artist constructs opulent assemblages of collages which are sometimes immortalized inside transparent resin. Streets: Andrew Hem (Italy)

A few months ago in Italy, Andrew Hem (interviewed) spent some time painting a stunning new mural for the Memorie Urbane. The multi-story piece created over several days in Fondi features one of his characters painted in his usual cartoonish style with what appear to be references to paintings of religious symbolism and iconography. After a previous edition in the largest museum of contemporary art in North Africa, the Mohammed VI Museum in Rabat, Morocco, the exhibition Main Street is now touring to Rouen in France . Three international artists Belin, Franco Fasoli, Lek are creating monumental installations within the Hangar 107. Spanish artist Belin painted a reclining nude with his ‘post neo-cubism’ style, while French artist Lek applied his signature geometric shapes directly onto the glass windows, and Argentinean artist Jaz created a colourful poetic narrative. Releases: Dabs Myla – “Alphabet Paper Studies”

This morning, Dabs Myla kicked off a 72 hour period in which you can order their Alphabet Paper Studies through their web store. Each piece is hand painted to order allowing collectors to buy multiples letters for initials, names, or anything at all. Also, each letter will have unique variances so that they are all one of a kind. Sized at 5″ x 7″, the acrylic on paper paintings will cost $300 each. Discuss Dabs Myla here.
