London-based artist INSA recently recently paid San Francisco a visit and threw up a mural featuring his signature imagery. LA Art Show: Murals from Andrew Hem, Chor Boogie, and Shark Toof

For several days while the Los Angeles Art Show was in town, Andrew Hem’s (interviewed), Chor Boogie, and Shark Toof were hard at work working on some large mural pieces. Interested attendees were treated to some extended live painting as each artist worked on some signature imagery for their enjoyment. Streets: Slinkachu – “The Last Resort”

Miniature photographer Slinkachu recently posted up a new street installation on his blog entitled The Last Resort. This piece is the first of many in a new body of work he is preparing for his solo Concrete Ocean at Andipa Gallery coming up in March. This will be his second show at the London gallery and if his last show there was any indication, fans will be treated to an intriguing mixture of new images and installations. Streets: ROA (New York)

Right after AM came back from Basel Week, we were visited by Belgium street artist ROA with whom we promptly hit the streets of New York with, specifically in Brooklyn. Initially, he focused his efforts in Factory Fresh’s neigborhood of Bushwick where he created some amazing works. It’s been months of buzz and speculation since the Exit Through The Gift Shop documentary made the 15 movie long-list for this year’s Oscars. Last Saturday night, “The Big Picture” opened at Subliminal Projects featuring the work of DEVO frontman Mark Mothersbaugh and Shepard Fairey’s (featured). We’re suckers for a great idea and also impatient when it comes to waiting for the delivery guys. So after posting about the KAWS x Standard Light Bulb Set, we headed to The Standard NY to cop this hot collaboration.
