Teaser: New Joe Sorren Bronze Sculpture

Joe Sorren fans must be salivating right now as a glimpse of a new sculpture has been released. This will the first editioned release of a bronze from Sorren in long while, with the last being Corrina (seen after the jump). Set for an editon of ten, this won’t be cheap, but it will make some lucky collectors out there very happy. Release details follow next week.

After our last visit in April, Channel 4 in the UK gives us another opportunity to see Jeff Koons’ studio with this new video. Oregonian artists APAK are at it again, this time getting ready for their show “Rainbow Garden” @ Tinlark Gallery. As you can see above, the multi-talented duo is preparing some sculptures of the curious little beings that always populate their work. Rounding out our coverage of Culver City’s ARTWALK 2009, we bring you photos from the shows on display at Blum & Poe, Bradford Stewart, Kim Light / Lightbox, Kinsey/DesForges, Koplin Del Rio, LA Contemporary and LeBasse Projects. It was awesome to be able to visit so many galleries and see such a diverse range of great art all in one visit. The only thing we’d change?
