Ending today at 5 pm (EST) is the Artists for Humanity auction at Paddle8 to benefit the project of the same name in Boston seeking to provide underserved youth with exposure and employment in the arts. We recently got an update from solidARTy.org that they are started another round of charity art auctions on their website. The project launched back in November by auctioning artworks donated by artists, galleries and studios, with 100% of the proceeds going to AreYouSyrious.org organization. So far they have raised over €20,000 for the cause and are now continuing their efforts by offering more original and rare, editioned work by world renowned street, urban and contemporary artists. Every year, the MTV RE:DEFINE Auction raises money for the Dallas Contemporary and MTV Staying Alive Foundation (HIV awareness and prevention).
