Showing: Isaac Cordal – “Moments de solitude” @ Spacejunk

Last week, Spacejunk in Bayonne, France presented new works from Isaac Cordal in an exhibition entitled Moments de solitude. For this showing, the Brussel-based artist created installations for the indoor space that mirror the pieces he usually leaves in the streets. These sculptural interventions, which he calls Cement Eclipses, consist of tiny middle-aged men in suits who navigate dreary, oppressive environments pointing out the how we are slaves to consumerism, funded by lives of drudgery. Discuss Isaac Cordal here.
