Galerie Patricia Dorfmann recently opened Mark Jenkins’ (interviewed) first solo show in Paris, introducing his newest body of work titled The Studio. Upcoming: Pose & Revok – “Uphill Both Ways” @ Jonathan LeVine Gallery

This Saturday night (June 29th), the Jonathan LeVine Gallery will be presenting a two-person exhibition (cureated by Roger Gastman) from Pose and Revok. Swoon Braddock Tiles Project

Street artist and humanitarian Swoon (interviewed) has recently announced a new project she is working on in North Braddock, Pennsylvania. Entitled Braddock Tiles, the venture will take place in an abandoned church which will eventually become an art-making hub in the blighted area. Their first order of business is hand-making 20,000 ceramic tiles to restore the roof of the historic building. Streets: Dabs Myla 2013 Euro Summer Tour

Australian artistic couple, Dabs Myla, recently left their LA home/studio to spend couple of weeks traveling and painting around Europe. By creating poppy, very colorful, clean line wall murals, often topped with cute, cartoonish like characters that are their signature elements, the artists left their marks on walls all over the old continent. Previews: Femke Hiemstra – “Fiebertraum” @ Merry Karnowsky

Dutch artist Femke Hiemstra will be opening a solo show this Saturday, June 22nd, at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles. The new body of work, collectively entitled Fiebertraum or Fever Dream, draws inspiration from near and far like song birds that came to visit her garden during the colder months and the Indian Holi Phagwa festival. MOCAtv recently released a new video featuring the Los Angeles-based RETNA (featured) spanning several projects put together in conjunction with the museum. The footage includes an interview with the graffiti artist as he talked about his two recent murals, The Falcon Before and After – 2013 and Para Mi Gente, Los Pintores de Nuestra Alma, painted at the Grand Ave Location for their 2013 Gala.
