Releases: James Jean – “Max Pipe” Print

James Jean (interviewed) will be releasing another signed and numbered time-limited print on November 14th, starting at 8 AM PST and ending after 24 hours. Entitled Max Pipe, the image is inspired by the painting Attirement of the Bride (La Toilette de la mariée) by Max Ernst. The enhancements (foil stamping, holographic foil, embossments) and dies required for this edition makes it one of Jean’s most complex offerings to date. Releases: Dan Witz x Dior Homme Print

On November 7th, Dan Witz will be releasing a print that celebrates his AW 2017 collaboration with Dior Homme. The imagery for the edition is taken from his signature “mosh pit” mixed media paintings, which was also used for the the fashion house’s outerwear line for Winter 2017. Releases: Von – “Skull 03” Print

Available thru October 31st, Skull 03 is a new print from Von (interviewed) that sees him utilizing some new drawing techniques that he’s been developing over the past few months. On October 23rd, Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be releasing a new print entitled Imperator. Featuring one of the Australian artist’s signature floating astronauts, this time hovering over a statue (something Geddes said might be the hardest object he’s had to paint), the timed edition will be available for 24 hours only starting at 9 AM Melbourne time. Releases: KAWS – “BFF” Vinyl Figures

Following up the unveiling of his BFF statue in Bangkok last year (covered), as well as plush versions in blue and black, KAWS will be releasing vinyl versions of the figure tomorrow (October 18th). The blue version can be purchased starting at 10 AM EST online at MoMA and at its two NYC shops while the black iteration will be available on KAWSONE.com starting at 12 PM EST. Later this month, Ai Weiwei will be opening an ambitious project in New York where he will be creating site specific works as well as a series of 200 banners that will be placed on lampposts in all five boroughs. Releases: Okuda x Flamingo – Sunglasses

Spanish artist Okuda recently collaborated with Flamingo to design a pair of sunglasses featuring his distinctive aesthetic. The shaded spectacles (available here for 95.00€) feature the prolific street artist’s signature colors & patterns on the frames. Release: Nick Walker – “Manhattan Bridge” Print

Nick Walker (interviewed) will have a new print entitled Manhattan Bridge on sale on Monday, 2nd October at 2.30pm GMT. The print features the artist’s gentleman vandal character walking across the streets of NY looking at the Manhattan Bridge. The 12 colour silk print is produced in an edition of 99 on Somerset Velvet 300 gsm paper and sized at 74 cm x 95 cm. It will be available for £450 online here at the appropriate time. Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) recently announced a new open edition she has made available through Static Medium. Entitled Enchantress (image taken from a painting from her show last year in LA), the print is sized at 18″ x 18″ and comes unframed ($90) or framed ($260).
