This Saturday night July 7th, the Corey Helford Gallery will be presenting the sexy sci-fi inspired sculptures from Colin Christian and the street-inspired work of RISK with both showings the first solos with the Culver City space. Releases: Ai Weiwei – “Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2012”

For those Ai Weiwei fans out there who would love to add something from the Chinese artist to their collection, here might be an affordable opportunity. The Serpentine Gallery has released a silkscreen print (signed and numbered) from AWW which will be limited to 200, sized at 84 x 84 cm, and cost £300 (excl. VAT). Preview: Luke Chueh – “Bearing the Unbearable” Signing @ Spoke Art

Tomorrow night (July 5th) in San Francisco, Luke Chueh (interviewed) will be continuing his Bearing the Unbearable book signing tour (see Los Angeles). After recently gifting New York with a mural that remixes a famous Alfred Eisenstaedt photograph (which is also is visible from the High Line), Sao Paulo-based street muralist Eduardo Kobra has travelled to Los Angeles to work on another piece. The Water Tank Project (New York)

If Tom Fruin’s Watertower installation in Brooklyn is any indication, having artwork tower over art lovers in New York can make the cityscape a lot more interesting. The series of limited editions were from Prints On Wood with each one available for 24 hours after a specified date and time.
