Art Focus: Shawn Huckins

An interesting juxtaposition of old masters like imagery and modern text abbreviation  – this series of paintings from Shawn Huckins is our Art Focus for the week. The premise for this particular set of works is Huckins’ view of the history of the United States as bookended by two revolutions – one being political in the 18th century and the other being technological in the 21st century.
