Teaser / Streets: WK Interact – “Project Brave”

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, WK Interact will be collaborating with New York City firefighters on Project Brave, a mural that will be located on Kent Avenue (between North 4th & North 5th Streets). Featuring his signature in-motion creations, the large 328 foot mural will feature iconic imagery from the tragic attack and will be on view from September 11 – October 11. Discuss WK Interact here.

Teaser: “Impetus” @ University of Arizona

Tucson will be getting a dose of the New Contemporary Art Movement tomorrow, September 8th, when Impetus opens at the University of Arizona School of Art. The group show will be curated by Thinkspace and be held at the the Joseph Gross Gallery. Kai & Sunny have just released a new screen-print entitled Ghost Flower as featured as a large format image at their recent London exhibition at StolenSpace, The Flower Show. We’re pretty enthralled by their dynamic imagery and thought that this image was one of the stand-outs of the show. Streets: Interesni Kazki (Slovakia)

Since July, we have already seen three huge murals from Interesni Kazki in Russia, Ibiza, and Portugal. The Ukranian duo continues their hot streak with this newest wall in Košice, Slovakia featuring some of their signature surreal imagery. Streets: Joe Sorren

It looks like gifted painter Joe Sorren’s (featured) has painted another wall in his home city (see the previous The Veridic Gardens of Effie Leroux), this time in collaboration with Lyle Motley.
