Release: Nick Walker – “Manhattan Bridge” Print

Nick Walker (interviewed) will have a new print entitled Manhattan Bridge on sale on Monday, 2nd October at 2.30pm GMT.  The print features the artist’s gentleman vandal character walking across the streets of NY looking at the Manhattan Bridge. The 12 colour silk print is produced in an edition of 99 on Somerset Velvet 300 gsm paper and sized at 74 cm x 95 cm. It will be available for £450 online here at the appropriate time. Last weekend, a new collection of works from Jose Parla was unveiled at Brand New Gallery in Milan entitled Mirrors. The fresh pieces featured less prominent roles for the his signature script and instead had a more collage feel to them through the incorporation of parts of posters ripped off the walls of Milan, Rome, Napoli, Matera, Bari, Lecce and Bologna. Elian Chali recently took part in the Cityleaks / TRANSURBAN festival in Cologne, Germany, curated by Georg Barrinhaus. For this event, he created one of his vibrant, abstract, and minimalist public interventions titled Against Overlapping. Working on a residential building in Müllheim, the Argentinian artist took the strong cultural characteristics of neighborhood and created a piece that searches for harmony. Entitled Enchantress (image taken from a painting from her show last year in LA), the print is sized at 18″ x 18″ and comes unframed ($90) or framed ($260).
