Nike Vault at the STAPLES Center recently launched The Kobe Prelude Experience. For eight weeks, they are showcasing Kobe inspired artwork by different artists, and every Saturday they will unveil a new piece. Each piece is tied to a key moment in Kobe’s career. LA-based artist, Allison “Hueman” Torneros, unveiled the first piece in the eight part series the other night. Nike commissioned her to create a surreal piece inspired by his 81 point game. We’ve been looking forward to this group show for a while now. Gallery 1988 SF has put together a lineup of 5 young ladies who’s special talent is making us “look” literally. Sweet Surrender features: Camilla dâ€™Errico, Krista Huot, Mia, Allison Torneros, and Jennifer Tong. TheseÂ talented girls put together what looks to be a great show.
