Leading off this week’s Rewind of art videos is a sweet film from Andrew Telling documenting Conor Harrington’s (interviewed) trip to Vardø, Norway for Komafest (covered). Releases: Andy Warhol x Campbell’s Soup Cans

The Campbell’s Soup company will be releasing some limited edition (albeit 1.2 million of them) cans inspired by Andy Warhol’s imagery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Warhol’s iconic 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans. Approved by the Andy Warhol Foundation, these new cans will be available starting Sunday at your local Target stores at 75 cents each. *edit* It appears some Targets have released them early *edit* Photo via AP / WOKV. Art HK ’12 Art Fair – BMW Art Car x Andy Warhol

This year, Art Hong Kong had a special booth that was not hosted by a gallery, but an automotive company. BMW, long a sponsor of the arts with their Art Car program in where legends like Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, Jeff Koons and Alexander Calder were recruited to design the exterior of their flagship sports car. A couple weekends ago in Chelsea, we attended this year’s Editions|Artists’ Book Fair, which brought together contemporary fine art print and art book publishers and dealers from around the world. Releases: Andy Warhol x Incase (Part II)

Incase, who released a series of products featuring Andy Warhol imagery back in April has apparently moved on to phase II. The new collection will add on more protective casings and bags options featuring new images that showcase the pop artist’s versatility with a variety of media including silkscreening (Elvis, Advertisements), film (Empire) and hand-drawing (Telephone, Do It Yourself Flowers). The Warhol: D.I.Y. Pop app

As art-related phone apps become more and more popular (see Faile Puzzle Boxes), it’s only natural that we will continue to introduce you to more and more of them. The next one on our list was recently released by the Andy Warhol Museum to allow users to learn about Warhol’s silkscreen process and to create a digital silkscreen print. The Warhol D.I.Y. Teaser: Andy Warhol – “Campbell’s Soup Cans” @ MOCA

This weekend at the MOCA, some of Andy Warhol’s most iconic work will be on display to the public. Campbell’s Soup Cans will be presented for the first time at the Los Angeles museum and is a celebration of the original exhibition at Ferus Gallery, his first solo showing all the way back in 1962.
