After an exhibition in New York, he brings his exquisite stencils and color combinations back to France with Community Service featuring works on found objects, installations, and wall murals. Our friends at Brooklynite Gallery are having an auction to raise money for the Haitian Orphanage – Chances For Children. They put together some nice pieces from artists such as Guy Denning, Miss Bugs, Beejoir, C215, Eelus and K-Guy. You can check out the pieces and bid here. With 100% of the proceeds going directly to the orphanage, it’s a definite win-win for all who participate in this very charitable event. More images after the jump.

Renowned stencil artists Logan Hicks (interviewed) and C215 opened their joint show “Parallel Unverse” at Show & Tell Gallery last week. For their first show in Canada, the NY based Hicks brings his familiar architectural inspired cityscapes and Parisian artist C215 once again channels emotions from the human subjects he favors. In anticipation of his coming group show with Logan Hicks at Show & Tell Gallery (previewed), our friend Butterfly met up with C215 aka Christian Guemy to visit his new studio in the neighborhood of Vitry-sur-Seine of Paris. The tour was followed up by a cool street session where C215 worked the neighborhood. The ever creative urban artist stenciled his new surroundings and worked to create pieces representative of his trips from all around the world. More after the jump.

AM just got back from the opening of Green Day’s “The Art of Rock” show at London’s StolenSpace gallery (previewed), the night before the band starts a run of sold out dates on the UK leg of theÂ 21st Century Breakdown Tour. Logan Hicks (interviewed) curated the group show, which consisted ofÂ 18 pieces of art inspired by the lyrics of the new album.
