Continuing to share his “fight club” imagery with the public, Conor Harrington (interviewed) recently completed a new mural for Street Art Doping in Warsaw. Painted over several days, the fresh piece features some of the Irish artist’s recognizable colonial figures getting ready for some one-on-one fisticuffs. Other artists slated to make their mark in the Polish capital include 1010, Ernest Zacharevic, 108, and CT. Discuss Conor Harrington here.

The 5th show on Søren Solkær‘s Surface world tour opened on June 12th at Øksnehallen in central Copenhagen. The exhibition itself features 122 portraits of some of world’s most famous street artists, who were all featured in his recent book Surface (covered). Following up on the amazing new imagery revealed in a recent popup show in New York (covered), Conor Harrington (interviewed) will be releasing the Samson’s Nostalgia Trap print soon. Sized at 74 cm x 100 cm with a total edition of 200, it will come signed & numbered and cost £250 (inc VAT). In between setting up for his popup show in New York (more on this later), Conor Harrington (interviewed) took advantage of the hospitality from the L.I.S.A. Entitled Unveiling, the new image is taken from a new painting for his popup show opening on September 27th in New York at a still undisclosed location. It looks like the Lazarides Gallery recently stopped by Conor Harrington’s (interviewed) studio to check in on the UK-based painter. What they saw was some amazing new works in progress for his upcoming debut show in New York later this year, presumably a pop up put on by the London-based gallery. Entitled Eat and Delete, the exhibition will include 10-12 large canvases that continues where the Irish artist’s Dead Meat show in London (covered) left off.
