Video: “Destricted” Trailer

The controversial collection of shorts entitled Destricted was recently released onto DVD. The US version which features famed artists like Richard Prince and Marilyn Minter as directors consists of an ongoing series of films that explore the line where art and pornography intersect. When the UK version was released in 2006, it won awards at a range of international film festivals including Cannes, but encountered some problems predictably getting released in the States until now. Currently on view at Honor Fraser in Culver City is New York-based artist Erik Parker’s Endless Anytime – a exhibition of new paintings that marks a shift in the artist’s subject matter.
