Openings: Augustine Kofie – “Structurally Sound” @ White Walls

Over the weekend, the White Walls Gallery in San Francisco presented new urban abstractions from Augustine Kofie. Entitled Structurally Sound, the new works continued the Los Angeles-based artist’s post graffiti aesthetic with thoughts of “sound structures and systems of reliability” when creating the paintings. Rounding things out was an installation that highlighted some of the sketches and in-progress ideas that lead up to the exhibition. Photo credit: Joe Russo for Arrested Motion.
