Streets: Flying Fortress (Frankfurt)

At the end of last month, Montana Cans in Germany hosted a two day event, Just Writing My Name, where graf artists were invited to paint the Friedensbrücke bridge in Frankfurt. Munich-based legend Flying Fortress, who we met at this year’s POW WOW, participated with this long mural featuring “The Hit Collection.” Check out the full wall as well take a look at a video documenting the going-ons after the jump…

Herakut @ HALLENKUNST

After finishing their project in Los Angeles painting segments of the Berlin Wall (covered), Herakut headed over to their home country to exhibit some of their painting skills in a pop-up show. HALLENKUNST was held in Chemnitz, Germany and seeks to highlight the growing urban art movement and public art scene. Streets: Slinkachu (Germany)

When talented street miniaturist Slinkachu left Germany after closing a show there in November at the Kunstverein Ludwigsburg, he made sure to leave a gift behind. Coming up in December, REVOK will be bringing a new body of work he is preparing in Detroit for a show in Germany at Vicious Gallery. Streets: CityLeaks Summary – Faith47, DAL, ROA, Herakut, INTI

We’ve already shown you the walls that Blu and Ethos painted for the CityLeaks Festival in Germany, but it looks like it’s time for a summary of some of the rest of the participants. As we have become accustomed to, street artists Faith47 and DAL worked on murals with religious overtones and frenetic energy respectively. Belgium-based ROA brought his new skinned animal concepts from indoors to outdoors. Streets: Claudio Ethos for Cityleaks Festival (Germany)

Back in June, we brought you photos of the medusa head that Blu painted for the CityLeaks Festival in Germany. Now pictures have surfaced of the beautiful new mural that the Brazilian street surrealist Ethos gifted Cologne for his part of the event.
