Previews: Eric Haze – “360°” @ 16 Shibuya

Later tonight in Tokyo, Eric Haze (featured) will be opening a show at 16 Shibuya entitled 360°. Put on with support from HUF, the exhibition from the New York-based artist will include 10 new paintings and a series of archival design works from current and past collaborations with the streetwear company. Still rocking his iconic stars and arrows, the renowned graffiti and designer will also be creating an installation for the event. Discuss Eric Haze here.

Showing: Palms Casino – “Dust to Gold” Renovation

As part of the $620 million “Dust to Gold” renovation at the Palms Casino Resort, an impressive collection ranging from blue-chip works to street art murals was acquired, commissioned, and deployed throughout the hotel. Last weekend, an expansive collection of paintings, sculptures, and site-specific installations was revealed at BEYOND THE STREETS in Los Angeles (1667 N Main St). Last night in conjunction with POWWOW ’14, RVCA & The Seventh Letter teamed up to put on an exhibition featuring some of the graffiti & street artists they are affiliated with.
