Recently to the delight of her fans in the Los Angeles area, Jen Stark painted some of her signature imagery on the facade of PLATFORM, a retail venue opening next year in Culver City. The psychedelic drips of color that are often seen in her mural painting mirror the geometric colors seen in her papercut sculptures, leading to a cohesive aesthetic seen across the versatile artist’s oeuvre. Releases: Jen Stark – “Drip Cascade” Print

On Thursday, September 24th, Jen Stark will be releasing a new good-sized print entitled Drip Cascade. The imagery used is easily recognizable as one from a series of works from the Los Angeles-based artist playing with psychedelic colors and patterns. Produced in an edition of 200 (with 9 AP’s), it measures 24″ x 30″, and will cost $550. Head over here at 4 pm Eastern Time if you are interested in adding it to your collection. Upcoming / Videos: Jen Stark x Miley Cyrus for VMA’s

Continuing to collaborate artists that speak to a new generation of viewers (see KAWS & Dabs Myla), MTV has tapped the visual language of Jen Stark for 2015’s VMA. Working with host Miley Cyrus on this year’s award show, the Los Angeles-based artist looks to be integrating her recognizable psychedelic & colorful imagery in animations, video spots (example below), ads, and artwork for the stage, among other things.  You can catch it all this Sunday night, August 30th. Jen Stark For Facebook Artist in Residence Program

Continuing to go big with her art, Jen Stark recently completed an installation for the new Facebook building in the Bay Area. With a team of assistants by her side, the Los Angeles-based artist left here colorful make on the inside of the Gehry building for the Facebook Artist in Residence program. The multi-layered psychedelic colors seem to drip down from the edges of the indoor structure mirroring the imagery seen in her gallery work. More photos below… Discuss Jen Stark here.

Jen Stark For Miami International Airport

Versatile artist Jen Stark certainly kept busy with her art visible at various venues during Basel Week Miami, including showing at the Untitled. art fair (covered). Before leaving town, she also completed a large scale public mural at the Miami International Airport located at Terminal D & E (3rd level), just off the moving skywalk. Basel Week Miami ’14: Untitled.

Focusing on emerging and midcareer contemporary art (over 200 exhibiting artists from 18 different countries), the Untitled. satellite fair was back for Basel Week Miami with their tent situated nicely on the beach. Jen Stark for Fashion Outlets of Chicago
