Streets: Jen Stark – “Tunnel Vision” (Los Angeles)

Recently in Los Angeles, Jen Stark unveiled an outdoor public sculpture commissioned by the Santa Monica Cultural Affairs and curated by LeBasse Projects. Entitled Tunnel Vision, the 20ft x 5ft x 5ft installation features a cascading series of ring shapes that bring to mind her paper cut pieces when viewed directly on, utilizing the same vivid colors and familiar forms. Releases: Jen Stark x Las Jaras Wines

For those who like to collect their own stash of bottles featuring the artwork of their favorite artists, Jen Stark has just released a design she collaborated with Las Jaras Wines on. Emblazoned on the side of the Napa Valley vineyard’s 2016 Pétillant Naturel Sparkling Rosé is one of the artist’s signature psychedelic patterns on a holographic label. Releases: Jen Stark – “Drippy” Clothing Line

Recently on her webstore, Jen Stark released a small clothing line featuring here “drippy” imagery. For those interested, there are now a men’s t-shirt, women’s crop top, and leggings all featuring the psychedelic drip patterns often seen in her work with a price set at $45, $40, and $55 respectively. Those are bold enough to wear these will certainly drawing attention to their style and at the same time introducing the work of Stark to everyone who sees them. Discuss Jen Stark here.

Upcoming: Jen Stark Pots @ Rob Pruitt Flea Market

Tomorrow (February 14th) from noon-5pm, Jen Stark will be selling some customized pots at the Rob Pruitt Flea Market. The market event from Pruitt has had many iterations in the past with the latest being Sunday in Downtown LA (1019 E 4th Place). Along with other artists friends, Stark will be peddling her wares – some of her iconic colorful and psychedelic patterns painted on plant holders. Discuss Jen Stark here.

Another strong satellite fair seen during this year’s Basel Week Miami was certainly Untitled. Showing a diverse selection of contemporary works, the roster included 119 international galleries, not-for-profit exhibition spaces and institutions from over 20 countries.
