Tomorrow night, December 9th, the third rendition of Lush Life will be showing at the Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle. As usual, the lineup is a stellar collection of purveyors of pop surrealism and includes the likes of Femke Hiemstra, Chris Berens, Josh Keyes, John Brophy, Travis Louie, Marco Mazzoni, Jessica Joslin, Joseph Park, Mia Araujo, and more. After hosting the first part of their 25th anniversary group show last month, La Luz De Jesus makes room for the opening of round two of the festivities on November 4th. Opening tonight at Clifton’s Brookdale in LA will be a tribute show for David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. The curation for this celebration of the early 90’s cult show is top notch as it includes many artists that we follow here on AM like Eric White, Stella Im Hultberg, Glenn Barr, and Tim Biskup, just to name a few. On Saturday night, AM attended the opening for Joshua Liner Gallery’s annual “Summer Show”. Apparently, so did many of the art loving New Yorkers that turned out to pack the house.
