Preview: Kukula – “Lonely Opulent Things” @ Corey Helford Gallery

This Saturday night, Kukula returns for her second solo show at the Corey Helford Gallery after a sold-out affair in 2009. Entitled Lonely Opulent Things, this new body of work consists of 12 paintings, including her largest works to date. Openings: “Made In Polaroid” @ Phillips de Pury

AM recently attended the star studded charity art show Made In Polaroid held at Phillips de Pury. The benefit was a one night auction that featured 50 works created by the 50-50-50 project using Polaroid’s mobile printer. All proceeds went to support Free Arts NYC. Cover artist Jeremy Fish (featured), who back in July had an impressive exhibition with Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC, has devised a fun publicity campaign for the October Juxtapoz issue.
