Rome’s Dorothy Circus Gallery and New York’s Jonathan Levine Gallery have joined forces to bring together some of the biggest names in the new contemporary scene for a museum exhibition in Italy entitled “Pop Surrealism”. In what looks to be a magical wedding deep in the forest, Mark Ryden and Marion Peck tied the knot amongst friend and family. With a beautiful setting and costumes that just seem appropriate, the artists made it official. We wish them all the happiness in the world and many years painting together…

The “Art For Hope” benefit (previously mentioned) took place at Merry Karnowsky Gallery last night. This was a special “one night only” group show to raise funds for the Obama campaign. Although this event was not planned very far in advance, everything came together nicely.
