Not new to mind-blowing collaborations (see 2010), three members of the Furtherrr Collective got together for another mural in Arizona. Painted at the Flagstaff Brewing Company, friends Mars-1, Oliver Vernon, and Damon Soule each added their ingredients to the organic brew resulting in a vibrant, kinetic, and large piece for the public to enjoy. Here’s hoping they get together for more projects in the future. Photos via Mars-1 & Furtherrr Collective’s Facebook. Discuss Mars-1 here. Discuss Damon Soule here.

We all hit bumps in the road, but with a little help we can all overcome any obstacles. As mentioned previously, a good friend of AM and assistant director of Joshua Liner Gallery, Tim Strazza, was unfortunately diagnosed with a Multiple Sclerosis. We helped sponsor a fundraiser created by the gallery to generate funds that went to support Tim and his medical bills. It seemed that almost everyone came out of the woodworks to donate artwork for the charity auction including a heavy rotation of […]

This Thursday, a very special art fundraiser will be held at Joshua Liner Gallery for our friend Tim Strazza who was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. We are helping to sponsor a benefit event where all proceeds will go to his medical bills. Some of your favorite AM artists have generously donated works for the cause which will be available via a silent auction. Online absentee bids will be available, so please contact the gallery. The art community has banded together to show their support. […]
In his second solo exhibition with Joshua Liner Gallery, Oliver Vernon will yet again seek to take art goers on a visceral journey with his unique artistic vision, where the laws of gravity don’t exist, and time and space are warped into a lucid whirlwind of color and movement. Opening this Thursday, April 14th, Sprung continues the signature psychedelic imagery exhibited during his first showing at the NYC gallery, Unexpected Occurrences (covered), yet this time draws upon a new bounty of inspiration provided by the […]

August in NYC is not typically the time to see great new art, as galleries tend to schedule group shows in order not to waste their A material on the few gallery goers left in town instead of summering in the Hamptons. Past experience, however, has shown us that the Joshua Liner Gallery defies expectations with their summer show, taking the opportunity to set the stage for their upcoming season, by exhibiting a strong selection of their regular roster and introducing us to a few […]
A late reminder for all our readers in the SF area. Tonight, Damon Soule opens a new show at the famed Bay Area art portal’s gallery – Fecal Face Dot Gallery. Unlike his last solo show, which was held at Thinkspace (covered), for this new body of work will include collaborations with Mars-1 (featured), David Choong Lee, and Oliver Vernon – something that crew has been experimenting with. Another pic after the jump…
This Thursday, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art will host an exclusive signing event for the art book “Further,” featuring the work of Damon Soule, David Choong Lee, MARS-1, Nome Edonna, Oliver Vernon, Robert Hardgrave and Tomokazu Matsuyama. Most AM readers will recall the amazing “Further” group show at Joshua Liner Gallery at the beginning of the year (covered). If you are around the bay area, definitely take this opportunity to pick up this beautiful book and get it signed by all the artists. […]
