Last night, New Image Art took over South Beach’s Cafeina for a group exhibition (teased) that should prove to be one of the more compelling events of Art Basel Week. As we reported earlier in the week, The Standard Miami served as ground zero today for a more intimate, less rushed signing of KAWS’ new book with Rizzoli, where guests were invited to sit down with the artist and share some time. Running at full steam right now down in South Beach, Art Basel Week is filled with many good things. This was most definitely one of them. With more time to explore the big fair, Art Basel Miami Beach, a stroll past Team Gallery’s booth (teased) was in order. Now that the initial excitement of preview day (covered) at Art Basel Miami Beach is over with, we can continue bringing you a more thorough look-see at some of the significant booths at the main fair. Fans of Todd James weathered the snow to show their support at the opening of his solo exhibition Infinite Lessons at A.L.I.C.E. Gallery in Brussels. After months of anticipation, the time has finally come for the curtains to be drawn back and the show to begin at this year’s Art Basel Miami Beach.
