Tomorrow night, the Joshua Liner Gallery will host the opening of a group exhibition, entitled Resolve. The show consists of an impressive list of twenty-two painters, two sculptors and one photographer, personally selected by gallery artist Tony Curanaj with a focus on artistic skill and the realistic depiction of the figure, still life and landscape. Over the weekend, the Robert Berman Gallery presented an exhibit titled Just Occupy which gathered a collection of photography from photojournalists Ted Soqui and Christopher Felver, as well as works from Shepard Fairey (featured). Over the weekend, the Merry Karnowsky gallery unveiled to the public their latest exhibition, one which featured the incredible photography of the late Vivian Maier.  Titled Vivian Maier – A Life Discovered: Photographs from the Maloof Collection, the exhibit featured a variety of photographs ranging from the 50’s to the 70’s and although this collection is barely the tip of the surface in terms of quantity of her work, the quality is simply incredible. Teaser: Terry Richardson – “TERRYWOOD” @ OHWOW

On February 24th, the always provocative Terry Richardson’s will be opening his first solo showing in Los Angeles at the OHWOW Gallery. The busy fashion and celebrity photographer had only recently exhibited in New York at the end of last year with work focused on his mom and dad (covered). This time around, the new snapshots are entitled semi-eponymously TERRYWOOD and is no doubt inspired by multiple facets of Hollywood life. Discuss Terry Richardson here.

Remember when renowned photographer JR (featured) recently returned to his home country of France for a solo exhibition entitled Encrages at Galerie Perrotin. AM recently stopped by the agnès b. gallery boutique to catch their latest exhibition with esteemed Italian photographer Massimo Vitali. The opening reception allowed guests to peruse a new series of photographs taken in Italy, Turkey and Greece from 2009-2011. Creative Process: Liu Bolin
