For those jonesing for an Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) print, but are overwhelmed by those with more more nimble fingers on the day of the release – here is finally an opportunity to add one to your collection easily. Where I Rest, a painting from the Merry Karnowsky show, has been made in to an open edition now available here. The 14.75″ x 22.25″ on giclee, priced at $80, will be signed but not numbered. Painter Candice Tripp has been working on the image for her next print release. As you can see, this screenprint will be generous in size and will include a subset of hand-finished editions. It will be produced through Black Rat Projects, where the UK-based artist will have a solo showing in June. She has also been working on some illustrations for a story written by Gogol Bordello. Tomorrow, February 6th, Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be releasing his Cluster painting (destined for Jonathan LeVine at the end of the year) as a print. Combine one of the most respected print production companies out there with an artist whose attention to detail is well-documented and the outcome of their collaboration is almost per-ordained to be incredible. UK-based street muralist Phlegm has really outdone himself this time. Using his intricate drawing skills, he has created a three part piece that when combined features an entire world on the shoulders of one his characters. Releases: Amy Sol – “Water Dragon” Print

Amy Sol (interviewed), who has a Los Angeles solo coming up in March, is also releasing a new print appropriately in this new year of the dragon. The image, Water Dragon, is from a piece she did for the the New Moon group exhibition early last year and will be reincarnated as a limited edition giclee (edition 50) scheduled for release tomorrow, January 28th, at 2pm pacific time in her online store. For the Planet of the Apes fans out there, Mondo will be releasing a series of posters created with this classic movie franchise in mind. Artists tapped to participate include Martin Ansin, Ken Taylor, Rich Kelly, Phantom City Creative and Florian Bertmer. The release (as a set) will happen online at a random time today, January 26th and individually on January 27th. Releases: Shepard Fairey – “Occupy Protester” Print

At a random time in the morning (PST) on January 12th, the now familiar cover image for TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year issue from Shepard Fairey (featured) will go on sale at his webstore. The screenprint entitled Occupy Protester will be sized at 18″ x 24″, come in an edition of 450, and cost $60 with all proceeds going to Occupy Wall Street. The limited edition piece will be signed by both Fairey and Sarah Mason, whose picture was used for the image. Discuss Shepard Fairey here.
