Tomorrow, December 16th, Mondo will be offering up two new limited editions from Olly Moss featuring imagery from the whimsical and beloved film My Neighbor Totoro from Hayao Miyazaki. No more than a couple of weeks ago, Post No Bills unveiled a new solo exhibition (covered) by UK-based artist Paul Insect. During the event, specially-signed letterpressed items were given away to a fortunate few. Later today, at a random time here, El Mac will be releasing a rare print through Moon Editions in San Francisco. Entitled Prayer, this limited edition is based on a painting from a show earlier this year and will come in three different colors – Vermilion Red (edition of 49), Metallic Copper (edition of 39), and Teal Blue variant (Edition of 9). That Lotus War Pyramid print from James Jean (featured) that we told you about a couple weeks ago is now available online. For the New Yorkers out there, this new release was sold at Jean’s signing at Reed Space, but now fans everywhere can purchase one for themselves. We still have a couple more things to cover before we close the book on this year’s Baby Tattooville. One of these is the much anticipated “goodie bag” that attendees to the annual art retreat receive at the end of the weekend. Besides the sweet Diesel Fuel print set and reproduction of the Art Jam painting, a collection of other limited editions, drawings, and art paraphernalia was given away just before the trip home.
