Back in March, we introduced you to a new line of prints from Jeff Soto (interviewed) entitled Seeker Friends. The series of limited editions were from Prints On Wood with each one available for 24 hours after a specified date and time. Each 6″ x 6″ print costs $25 + shipping with $1 of every sale going to plant one tree through the Plant A Billion Trees program. Openings: Ai Yamaguchi – “Ashita Mata” @ 10 Chancery Lane Gallery

Hong Kong’s 10 Chancery Lane is recently collaborated with Tokyo’s Mizuma Art for the first solo HK exhibition by Ai Yamaguchi. The show, entitled Ashita Mata (Again Tomorrow), consists of a varied body of work including prints, murals and an amazing large-scale installation composed of many individual paintings. Yamaguchi seems to be continually expanding artistically through the use of these different mediums and configurations while all the time remaining true to her longtime imagery of beautiful and young edo-period courtesans.

The Roq La Rue Gallery has graciously offered up a Femke Hiemstra prints as a giveaway to one of our readers. Earlier today, Poster Child Prints released a new print from Mark Dean Veca (featured) based on this When The Shit Hits The Fan painting, first seen in his solo at Western Projects last year. Chicago-based painter Dan May (interviewed) recently put up a set of two prints for sale based on a commission piece he painted entitled The Resistless Hour Awaits. Featuring some of his signature imagery like his detailed rendering of strands, the limited editions are 16 x 20″ each, signed & numbered with COA, in a run of 50, and will cost you $100. Releases: James Jean – “Nervosa” Print

James Jean (featured), who will be showing in our City of Fire show next week, has just released a beautiful new print on his webstore at OVM entitled Nervosa. Reproduced from one of his delicate and intricate drawings, the edition is limited to 100 and costs $75.
