Check out the print details and a video of Ernesto hand stenciling the piece after the jump.

Releases: Glenn Barr x Pressure Printing – “Evening” Print

Pressure Printing continues their line of stellar releases with this new print, “Evening”, from Glenn Barr (who has a show currently showing in Dallas). You may remember first seeing the original at the Riverside Art Museum in our Baby Tattooville coverage for 2008. The subtle brush strokes in Barr’s painting evoke a warmth and depth that definitely stood out to us that night and it seems that Pressure Printing has done a pretty good job replicating that in this release. The print (a 23″ x […]

The giclée print “Haitian Girl” measures 18″ x 24″ and is limited to an edition size of 50. All proceeds are being donated to Yéle Haiti. It is available immediately here, so go donate […]

Releases: Kent Rogowski – “Valentine’s Bears” @ 20×200

Today at 2:00pm Eastern, affordable art-edition purveyor 20×200 will be releasing a set of Valentine’s Day inspired prints by one of our favorite photographer/artists, Kent Rogowski. The images – created exclusively for this release – are the latest from Rogowski’s Bears series, in which he turns stuffed animals inside out, transforming the commonplace children’s toys into something bizarrely cute and lovably grotesque. As per usual, 20×200 will have various sizes available to suit almost any budget, so if you are looking for that unique Valentine’s […]

Releases: Joe Sorren – “The Overture” Print

Joe Sorren just announced a new print, “The Overture”, a giclee with an edition size of 95 that he has made available on his webstore. You may remember that this painting was for the BLAB! show last year. He did some pretty interesting documentation of the creative process for this piece previously which you can see here. Also, fans of his work are sure to be overjoyed to hear that he is working on his first museum retrospective set for the end of the this […]

Behind the Scenes: Saber x Modern Multiples – Flag Print

Many of you may remember the video that Saber produced for the “Organizing For America’s Health Care Reform Video Challenge” (if not, take a look after the jump). Although he was demonized by some of the media for “defacing” the American flag, anyone with a little common sense would see his painting as an “interpretation of the American flag being overwhelmed by the language of his personal struggle with our country’s system of medical care.” Battling epilepsy himself, the graffiti artist felt he had to […]
