After covering a flurry of street murals for the POW WOW event in Hawaii, it’s time for a return to the Streets World Roundup for a look around the globe. With the return of the Rewind article, our first since Basel Week Miami, it only seems appropriate that the featured video is from Art Basel. This week’s look at public art around the world is headlined by this new piece (source) from Case (aka Andreas von Chrzanowski) in Frankfurt, Germany. Painted at the construction site for the future European Central Bank headquarters, the MaClaim crew member painted Pinnochio being manipulated by a pair of hands, making some sort of political statement. Our Streets: World Roundup returns this week with this collaborative mural from Serbian twins Sobekcis and Zoer at the top of the list. The wall was painted on the westside of Copenhagen on a street called Sdr. Boulevard. Thanks for Henrik Haven for the photo. Streets: Komafest (Part IV) – Recap

After bringing you the works of Claudio Ethos, Vhils, and Conor Harrington from Komafest, all the way from Vardø, Norway, we now have a recap of some the other walls that we have not featured yet. We start off this week’s look at street activity with this new mural from Mear One (interviewed) in Lincoln Heights as reported by LA Taco. The mural, which features the LA-based artist’s post-apocalyptic imagery, was commissioned by Tee Shirt Spot and is located on Pasadena Avenue. A couple nights ago, the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) played host to the opening of De Dentro e De Fora or Inside Out Outside In, seemingly a repeated title for many recent street art exhibitions and videos in some variation or another. Currently showing in Morocco at the David Bloch Gallery is their summer group show, apparently part 3 of their Hall of Fame series. Of interest, among a group of international artists, is the inclusion of some artists we follow like Dave Kinsey, Augustine Kofie, and Remed.
